if your fitting a 15x8 put a 195/50/15 or even a 205/50/15 on it, roll the inside edge of ya guards if you have to.

don't do any stupid stretching of undersize tyres!!! you will be buying new tyres every week 'cause you will run the sidwalls flat!

i work for Bridgestone nd i know that there is a right size tyre for almost every rim setup out there!

you just need to do some research.... we have a book at work which lists all the rolling diameters and nominal widths of all the different tyre and rim sizes! its a great help when fitting up a new set of wheels!!

Tyre manufacturers have sizing charts for their tyres, including minimum, maximum and recommended rim sizes.

 

An example on the yokohama website: For 195/50x15 tyres in several different tread types.

 

minimum rim width: 5.5 inches

recommended width: 6.0 inches

maximum rim width: 7.0 inches
