when building the unit to keep your carb at the same pressure as the turbo boost do you have to build it to surraund the wholt thing or can it be atatched to just the inlet of the carbiy?

If you are going to the effort of building a surround, simple option is to pressurise the whole carb... Can be done just through the inlet, but you'll have to pressurise the fuel bowl too, as well as sealing the carb body to hold all that pressure in...

Easy way, just seal the whole lot, don't forget to foam fill float and boost reference the fuel regulator... probably don't need reminding, but hey, one of the few times i feel smart, so milking it for all it's worth.

what carby?

if its a 32/36 weber or similar they usually have a vent next to the throats and an external one. Block the external one off and the internal one will supply boost pressure to the fuel bowl.

If it doesnt have an internal vent, or it has been closed over (a trick used by hill climbers to stop fuel sloshing out the vent into the throats) then drill and tap a fitting into the fuel bowl lid and run a boost "reference" hose. Just tee off the same line you use for your fuel regulator.
