4k Into Ke20

I'm just wondering if i put a 4k in my ke20 with the ke70 mounts will it bolt up the same or do i need to use the ke20 mounts to mount it up???

spittao, a ke70 5 speed is exactly the same length as any other k40 or k50 box.

yeah but the thing is that ive got no ke20 mounts i just got a 4k with ke70 mounts and don't wont to spend more money and buying mounts.... so you think it will fit or it will be 2 far forward and hit the radiator??... and yes i know its piss easy i just wonted to know the diffences in the mounting??

Spend the money. Buy the mounts. Do it properly.

The ke70 mounts don't mount the motor further forward. They are taller, and may not sit on the ke20 xmember properly.

the ke70 crossmember is wider that the ke20.

 

so the angles and size of the mounts are wrong

if the boxes are the same than pleas explane wy i had to cut 3" out of my tunnel to fit the shifter out of the flour????? hmmm.

Because although the boxes are the same length, the shift hole is in a different position. Hence you had to make the hole bigger. Happy?
