mikey_m Posted May 2, 2008 Report Posted May 2, 2008 OK Folks, I am building up a 4AC to go in my KE70, Eventually this will become a Rally Car, yes I know its not a 4AGE. (don't get started om this one, the categories I am planning to run do not allow it) So I have managed to get myself some 40mm Dellorto DHLA Sidedraughts to go on the 4AC, I know HKS used to make a set of intake manifolds to suit webber/dellorto carbs. So my question is, does anyone know how to get them, have made a set etc, can lend my diagrams to making my own etc, I have a good engineer helping on this one, however if anyone can lend their advice to me is appreciated and also easier. Also since we are on the same side of the engine, I need extractors, does anyone still make them, or will this become another custom job? if Custome anyone got diagrams/measurements etc. I have been searching think and thin for info and it is sparse. Thanks for listening hopefully we can get some good info. Quote

mikey_m Posted May 2, 2008 Author Report Posted May 2, 2008 http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=13912 Cool start, looks like the extractors were the easy part, cheers Quote
tas_ae71 Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 paradice racing in the US used to make extractors but they have been discontinued for a while. they still do cams. i have a lightly modded 4ac, i can see with extractors, bit more comp and sidedrafts that it would make squidles of power. i have a crappy exhaust, cam and 32/36. PM me, ill share some suggestions i have from what research i have done. Quote
philbey Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 A bloke I know welded a manifold up to suit his sidedrafts. He's an engine builder so he had access to all the right gear he needed, like a mill for flanges etc. Quote
