Sounds like your alomst done! Tailshaft cost me either 250 or 350 I can't really remembr.. You going for a 1 piece of 2 piece?

I'm using the SR box and it just clears the handbrake in 4th/reverse once you turn the shifter around. What box you going for?

Ahh yeh RB box should be good then, heres some pics of mine to give you a rough idea. But if your goin with that box then I doubt you will have any clearance issues.

I was originally going a 1 piece but when you have a look it doesn't really give a whole lot of clearance in the tunnel so I went with a 2 piece. I got mine made at Petron Automotive in Tradelink drive Browns Plains, He usually charges $250-$350.

I'm running a hilux aswell, what diff you gonna go with? I didn't need to get mine cut down because it was pretty much the same width. The stud pattern had to be re-drilled aswell as some cables made up etc.

hey mate, is that a silvia cross member redrilled to fit or did you cut and re-weld mounts onto the ke crossmember?

Was there much tunnel work needed to be done?

also with the gear stick, i thought it had to be re-cut abit further back?

I'm about to tackle a sr conversion in my ke70 so info would be great.

cheers

Na I'm still using the ke70 crossmember with the old mounts grinded off and new ones made up from scratch. But I have heard of people using a s13/180sx crossmember aswell.

Tunnel needed a bit of bashing but if I was to do this again I would cut and extend the firewall/tunnel to make it easier for gearbox/clutch changes.

The gearstick does sit a bit back from where it used to be but I reversed the shifter which gives it a bit more room. Only just clears the handbrake where it's at now but it's no worry to me really.

Any more questions feel free to ask

I wish lol. I had a mate watching when I went to Willobank and he reckons it just barely lifted the left wheel off the line with slicks on but I dunno for sure
