hey just wondering if anyone local in Adelaide had experience with locking diffs, would like to help a unemployed Rolla Club member and lock my diff for me?

i know how to as i just got mine locked last weekend but I'm unexperienced to do it, take it to an engineers to get it done properly or if you no a lil bit just give it a try :rocknroll:

I have a locked diff in my donor car and it was the worst thing for turning corners

 

Unless your building a super horspower drag machine i wouldn't bother

Get a welder and start welding the spider gears for that centrelink-funded drift machine :rocknroll:

....um, try a mechanic, machine shop, or welding business. Taking it to an engineer will be very costly and embaressing!! :jamie:

I don't want to be anywhere near you when you start driving that thing on the road in the wet.

 

Why? I've driven a mates locked KE70 in the wet many times, as long as you drive sensably there is nothing to worry about. It's not as if the car is going to unexpectattly swing out on you, a corolla still needs a fair bit of provocation to get anywhere near oversteer...lol
