I have recently purchased a 1974 ke20 and am looking to change the stud pattern...

I am not knowledgeable about diffs, brakes and axels but hopely you guys can clear a

few things up...

Q.1 - If i were to get ke70 axels and brakes, will they slot straight into my existing diff?

Q.2 - (don't judge me) - but rear ke70 axels are discs right?

Q.3 - Spacers - I know they give you wider tyres but do/can they change your stud pattern (4x100 pcd to 4x114.3 pcd) ?

Q.4 - Can i change the whole rear end (diff, axle and brakes) from a ke70 into a ke20 with no dramas?

I would appreciate all help and knowledge, Thankyou

Will

Q.1 - no

Q.2 - no

Q.3 - spacers don't magically widen your tyres, but widen your track or allow you to use more positive offset wheels. bolt on spacers may allow stud pattern change but i'm not sure.

Q.4 - no, you would need to weld on your existing spring mounts etc
