hi all

i was gonna leave the venetian black anyway, i decided the car needs it black to keep the 'dark and sinister' look!!

i installed the seats today, wasnt as difficult as i thought, just a little bit of loving with my trusty hammer and somehow it all ended up lining up rather well!

ill post pics of it on the weekend but take my word for it when i say they look frickin wicked! i love them. the original ke25 seats and rails that were in there will be going up for sale in the for sale thread soon. probably on saturday.

going to u-pull-it lonsdale tomorrow before i go to scotts to pick up some bits and pieces, ill let you guys know what they have in the way of rollas.

anyway, time to go to bed, big day tomorrow!

see ya

mate I can tell you what they have - plenty of 30's and 70's. There was a 25 there about a month ago, reasonably intact except the front struts are missing the springs and tops haha.

Orange one, north western corner. Thats about all they had there.

sorry mate, paseos are about as rare to find at the wreckers as ke20s! but just go look at other small cars with nice centre consoles and you might find something you could make fit with a bit of patience and an angle grinder!!

went down to u pull it at lonsdale to look for a set of K enginge mounts and found 2 paseos. 1 had a console that look like people had put screw drivers thru it. and saw one on my way out had a look had full interior including overrated console, got it out it was only $22. problem was i borrowed my mates scooter as the 25 had no engine in it as the passenger side engine mount broke. so i rode from u pull it to my mates workshop in reynella balancing the console between my feet. things i'll do to get a console that fits ay. :D

dude that sounds like it would have been hilarious to see!!

did a bit of work on the weekend but i don't have pics yet sorry..

1: installed the roof lining, looks sweet!

2: covered and installed the sun visors

3: installed bmw headlights

4: serviced, changed oil, flushed radiator, changed oil filter, installed "fully sick" pod filter, changed leads, changed points, plugs

5: finished installing the front seats, and seatbelts, (thanks paseo!)

6: started mucking around with the dash, gonna take a lot of work!!

i also installed my 4 in 1 tacho and found out its dodgy! :D tacho works but the three little dials in it don't work all that well, readings jumping all over the place. not happy.

anyway, ima go see what else needs doing.

need some help again please. i was smelling petrol when my car was running and thought it was just running rich until i just put my new battery in and had my head under the bonnet while the car was running. i saw something dripping and upon closer inspection found it to be fuel!!! not too great as far as safety is concerned.....

here are the pics of the culprit...

circled in red is the origin of the leak, it looks like its leaking from the middle where it seems to have been braised or welded. i don't know why fuel has to go here but I'm sure theres a reason for it. so what i was wondering if someone could please tell me what this is for and where i can get a new one that wont leak! what models have the same thing?

that would be the fuel line from the fuel pump (the object it's screwed into) to the carby.

all my engines have a solid fuel line from the pump to the carby. i'm sure you could just unscrew the one that's leaking and put in a new one.
