CHEERS Ryan Yeah mate, do the work yourself you'll save a shitload. The parts will turn up eventually, you just have to know where to find them. Have you thought of a brake upgrade? KE55 or KE70 maybe? Will be easier to find the parts. Cheers Quote
4ages Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Supprisingly those wheels do look quite the stuff, stokos never look so good. Quote

Cheers Yeah already got KE30 brakes on there atm, just got a pair of calipers and rotors for $32.50 of madmax7. scored the brake lines as a toolbox special from U-PULL-IT when i got a VL fuel pump for when Boris eventually goes into turbo guise. Yeah doin it yurself definatly saves shit loads, 32.30+$10 for brake fluid and $10 for a brake bleedin kit= $52.20 when compared to $836 i think the difference is a little more that a shit load :( CHEERS Ryan Quote
SLO-030 Posted April 19, 2008 Author Report Posted April 19, 2008 OK, got the new brake lines in yesterday went ok apart from needing a new threaded part that goes on the end of the hard line as the thread was rooted. bled brakes for the first time, dam hose exploded off the bleed nipple and got sprayed, NOT GOOD. got it all done just in time to goto the megacruise. swapped tyres front and rear as they are different profiles so now the front wheels don't scuff as much inside the wheel arch. calipers and rotors will go in sometime in the next week. pics comin soon.
