Just considering all my options with engine conversions. I thought i might try something different. Rather than the usual CA18DET 4AGE 4AGTE.

I have seen a video of a trueno that had done the conversion in japan but other than that i haven't seen anyone else do it.

Yeah thats the idea but i don't think i have the funds to back it up. It would be nice i think the f20c is the most powerful stock 4cylinder street engine that i know of. Unless anyone knows of anything else.

F20C

Induction Aspirated

Power 176kW @ 8300rpm

Torque 208Nm @ 7500rpm-7500rpm

thats more power than a standerd rb25det i think but well less torque

Honda make some pretty mean 4 cyl and there are alot of good parts ex Usa and Japan

good motor but a weak g/box, hell dear and not many replacement parts around. If you want high hp N/A, have a look at the beams motor, i havent seen it done in a ke30 before, they make nearly honda power, are cheaper. more readily available and theres plenty of tough g/boxes that fit.

just a thought

Have you considered the NEO SR series nissan engines? The top spec (N1) 1.6L makes 147kW (197hp)! (Pretty sure they run a V-TEC like variable valve timing and lift system) The highest spec 2 litre (SR20VE) has 20 valves and makes over 200hp.

the F20c will cost you the best part of 10K to buy... you can try a B18 but that a reverse spinning motor and made fo east west...

The gearboxes behind the F20c are quite robust, the bits that break are the diffs and axles from abuse.
