Jason Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) OK got my rims today, but found out the studs fall short by A LONG WAY. Any who how do i go about replacing them? The wheels holes (for the studs) are also bigger is that going to be a problem? To me it looks like i bash the crap out of them until that pop out... But i don't want to brake anything... ive googles btw and some of the methods they use seem dodgy  Edited January 7, 2005 by Jason Quote
Redwarf Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Look at the holes on the wheels, are they square shouldered or tapered? If they are square shouldered you will require new wheel nuts (shanked nut and washer). Don't go belting out wheel studs until you have worked this out! If the stud holes look bigger, I'd say you will have to go the shank and washer option. Cheers R Quote
Jason Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 Nope there square as in flat, no taper Quote
Redwarf Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 In that case you will require new wheel nuts. Supercheap have them. Quote

I searched for new ones for a few days back when I got my hot wires. Repco didnt have them (even on catalog). I wouldnt have thought supercheap would have them. I ended up getting them off a RA40 celica Quote
