If you havent alredy done so, remember to hook up the wires for the auto gearbox lockout switch or you'll be goin nowhere real quick :y

CHEERS

Ryan

Yeah thanks Ryan

I made sure that was one of the first things i did after pulling out the auto shifter

After reading so many posts of people not being able to get the thing started after the conversion i didnt want to be pulling my hair out wondering why

But cheers for the tip anyway :lolcry:

Well the engine is in

Gearbox is in

It's all hooked up and running very well

In fact i'm suprised just how hard this little rolla goes now :rocknroll: I also have a 2.7l injected hilux and the rolla would leave that for dead

Just have to wait a couple more weeks and i'll get the twins tuned

But overall i am very impressed with what you can acheive with a n/a 1300!!!!

Now i can start working on the body

Well the car was running well until i wound it out to 7200rpm yesterday (taking a mate for a rap, as you do) and managed to put the final nail in the coffin for the alternator

Was a fun drive home last night praying that the battery didn't die and leave me with no lights (it didn't thankfully)

and then managed to get it to the auto electritian who didn't have a reco one so $250 for a brand newy

No way i was going to leave it to the last minute with the blue mountains cruise this sunday (WOOOHOOO)

So got that fixed and also got myself a new set of rims. I'll post some pics tomorrow but they are old school and they are fat as. Looks fully sick bro ....lol Finally something that fills out the guards

Only got the rear two on so far but the other two are going on tomorrow

Also painted my white boot lid baby shit yellow to match the rest of the car to try to make it look a bit more respectable for the big day.......well kinda

Post some fresh pics tomorrow :P

sound good andrew looking forward to the pictures.

what kinda alternator is it?

i remember hearing somewhere you can gut bosch internals from other cars/models and make them fit other bosch alternators.

either way as long as its running :P

G'day George

How's your beast going? Haven't snapped that diff yet i hope. Did you get the front bar on & dash in?

I think the alternator is ONX or something like that. There was green on the box

I've got one of those speco tacho's.

They're actually a perfect fit for retro-fitting them into a corolla dash!! Little bit of work, but worth it I think.....
