Xany Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 (edited) well.....over the past couple of years (about 5) i've been collecting corolla parts. As some of you have been in my backyard its not that big. Now i have 2 wrecks in the backyard.....one of them (first photo) has been FULL of parts for the past 12 months cause i brought home a lot of parts from a friend that was cleaning out his shed. Dad and i have only just gotten around to bulding a shed out the back big enough (not big enough to need council approval) to house the parts. My dad also has parts for his ute (1965 Holden HD) but most of them are under the house. Anyway this afternoon teddy and i decided that we would start to clean the car out. the second picture was before we started, i'd already started during the week and had a bit in there.......third picture is after we finished.....btw that filing cabinet ais chockas full of stuff. do you guys reckon i've got too much stuff?......don't be afraid not to come around and ask me if i have something.....i'm sure i will.....hehehehe  Edited January 2, 2005 by Xany Quote

Jason Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 Bah you can never have to much stuff, u should of seen my garage before i had to dump it to fit my car in  Quote
Xany Posted January 2, 2005 Author Report Posted January 2, 2005 ok.....but how would you get it down to tassie.....thats where you are is it not? Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 i had alot more than that in my old shed, but i threw some of it out when i moved. i kept the majority of it though, it was under my mum's house. four weeks ago, mum calls me at 8am saturday and says "hi, i'm moving house next weekend, could you get that stuff out from under my house?" goodbye weekend. not having anywhere to keep it, or time to sell it, i threw away about three-quarter ton of spares. engines, wheels, suspension bits, brakes, doors, etc etc i actually still have two ke30/55 bonnets if anyone wants them. totally free, you come get them Quote
Teddy Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 you_threw_away_corolla_parts? !!!!!! Quote
irokin Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 theyre just corolla parts..... Ok if it was a bigport head or starlet LSD you can cry.... Quote
Teddy Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Its just me, if theres nothing wrong with them they are either... - Still good spairs for your car - Good presents for friends with cars like yours - Ebay sales - Trading post sales - home Interiour furnishings Nick - The Grill is slightly split up the top, but when its installed on the car, i don't think it would matter / wouldnt see it... super glue would fix it no probs. Super Jamie Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 and if i called you and said "hey come get these bits by tomorrow" would you have done it? exactly Quote
pro_ke Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 its not like k series corolla stuff is actually worth anything a mate called a wrecker here today looking for a good 4k crank, well they wouldnt sell him a crank but they would however sell him a complete short motor (ie no head) in good condition for $50 nuff said Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 yep, we have a big shed out the back full of car parts, datsun sunny parts, nissan 720 parts and ke70 parts, in the end its just junk, you can buy a whole car for not much money so why bother hanging onto most of it? were getting a mini skip bin soon and a lot of it is going to be hocked.. Quote
Xany Posted January 6, 2005 Author Report Posted January 6, 2005 very true.....you have valid points there. however most of my stuff is spares for my car so i don't have to go to the wreckers to buy them. the parts that i have atm have paid for themselves about 3 times over. Quote
