Mind if i ask what those rims stung you? They're pretty tidy looking!

The 2TG came out of the TA22 GT series, LT series had 2TC engines (single cam, single carby etc). They cost over $1000 rebuilt, but can be picked up for around $300 at lowest for an engine in need of rebuilding. They can make over 130KW, just with a slightly ported and polished top end.

what a load of bs

factory hp was 125 hp in the highest tune version *gross*

generally an average one makes 55-60rwkw std in early corolla or celica rwd

built one with a friend which was 3t crank, roughly 1810cc, 304/288adv @ .395, 10.5:1 and made 88rwkw with 40mm phh

went to 45 dcoe and made 97rwkw

now running dcoe throttle bodies and wolf engine managment still 98rwkw

i'm hoping for 100-115rwkw out of mine at 1941cc

anyone who reckons they are making 130kw out of the stock 1588cc is using serious forced induction or too many magic mushrooms

any plans for a grill? or just going to leave it off?

was thinking about leaving it off

now i've retrofitted an rt132 item

was at a self-serve wrecker grabbing some other bits and just happened to find it there and it was close to the right width and easy to mount

not sure if i like it tho
