Des Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 Doubt it. You need a timing light to set the ignition timing again. Quote
ian_ae82_white_rolla =D Posted March 27, 2008 Author Report Posted March 27, 2008 ok thx mate, ill try get 1 this week end Quote
tas_ae71 Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 will it run? also you did put the distributor in the right way? because the crank turns on a 2-1 ratio the distributor can easily be set 180 degrees out (i.e. firing the opposite cylinder o what it should) Quote
Medicine_Man Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Yeah, I'd be saying 180 degrees out too, take out plug #1, make sure the piston is coming up, Set it to TDC #1 and then look at your distributer setup again (Make sure you look which way the rotor spins too) set up your leads so they fire in the right order etc..
