its pretty much trial and error. Install your ae71 pedal box, and youll get some sort of an idea where to drill. You can try drill from the inside but i doubt the drill will fit.

i installed the pedal box and got a punch and punched a little dent from the inside and then looked in the engine bay and where the dent was i drilled. then you just extend the holes a little bit till it all fits sweet

cheers.

does it go through the same hole that the cable clutch line went through?

no it doesnt

also should mention that u will have to angle grind the cable clutch hole a little as the master cylinder fouls on it

I'm still having trouble.

are the ae86 and ae71 clutch pedal boxes the same?

i have an 86 one and after having a look, it looks like the ke70 pedals are all one unit.

can anyone shed some light???

A Trick I used - Take your pedal box and a piece of cardboard.

Create a template using the card marking bolt holes and the master holes.

Install the pedal box and then line up the card on the engine bay side, and viola your know where to drill.
