Roo Posted April 20, 2008 Author Report Posted April 20, 2008 put some suspension in it, but my brakes don't like the 14s  Quote
Roo Posted May 20, 2008 Author Report Posted May 20, 2008 why? why don't ke70s tuck 13s  so close but yet so far, tyres still 20mm off the ground but the car is stuck on my jack and that folds done to 60mm high Quote
KE70-from-mt-panorama Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 Just get some (1 or 2) people to lift the body of the car up and then let the jack down and out then get them to drop it. That should work. Quote

KE70-from-mt-panorama Posted May 22, 2008 Report Posted May 22, 2008 Very good. How low is your ke70? from sill to ground and from x-member, diff etc to ground? Quote
Roo Posted May 22, 2008 Author Report Posted May 22, 2008 Very good. How low is your ke70? from sill to ground and from x-member, diff etc to ground? in that pic exhuast is 30mm for them ground, tyre was 20mm in the air, diff was tucked up pretty well. just playing around with it thats no springs and no bumpstops. when i get my coilovers i will be setting the hieghts but its still should be low Quote
Roo Posted June 4, 2008 Author Report Posted June 4, 2008 (edited) well got the car regod woo went to drive her for the first time just after getting rego made a weird sound when starting it up, so i thought i would check to see if everything was fine but the oil was milk  . so i thought new head gasket time then snapped a head bolt undoing it :lmao: :hmm: :hmm: its stuck in the block good so i was stuff this piece of shit. so I removed it I also put in the front s13 suspension, using standard S13 arm get so much track increase and the lock is great, but the car is about as high as it can go in the front. still got to get the rear suspension in you don't need a engine crane for 4ks i just lifted it out of the engine bay with the guns. so this is what the old girl look like before i started pulling her apart how see sits now rear camber? under the bonnet and just taking out the pedal box that was a fun job...not. note my ae86 jdm steering wheel :hmm: I'm putting a smallport 4age in her, picking that up next week :) getting my pedal box power coated black and going to have pink pedals :hmm:, intake will be powercoated silver and I'm still thinking what colour to get the extractors done was thinking black, rocker cover will be blue or pink not sure yet roo Edited June 5, 2008 by Roo Quote
