Hey guys.

My KE55 Fuel guage has not been working since I got the car, thought perhaps it was because we had less then 10L of fuel in the car, filled the tank the other day and still nothing.

Checked the cable that connects to the tank and it has power, so what else could it be? A Dud tank? Anyway to fix it?

I dunno anything about this, nor does my Pa.

Cheers

most likely the sender unit in the tank....could also be the gauge. The sender units can be worn out and then wont read properly or not at all.

If you plug the sender wire to the body of the car and the gauge is ok the needle will go to full (or higher).

I've had a mix of cracked floats and worn wires in the faulty senders over the years, you'll have to pull it out and take a look if your gauge is fine.

yeah mine is mega dud too. it goes up to full and the first half the tank is gone apparently after about 30 mins of driving and the other half never seems to move much at all. so ive come to not rely on my fuel gauge.
