How many km's to the tank should i get? I have a 84 KE70 4 Speed manual. I'm using Shell Unleaded atm...Well i've only filled up twice so far as i haven't had the car that long...My first tank of petrol i got 450 out off....

400kms, mate out of a std 4k I'm using bp standard and valvesaver brand lead replacement, although mine is auto backed so its always reving to make the auto shift

No need.

 

4k valve seats are hardened so will run unleaded just fine.

 

I also get over 500k's per tank, but I'm running a very nicely tuned weber and a decent exhaust which helps a lot.

Wow, I only get 320 Km's out of a worked 4K which sucks :hmm: dunno whether its my right foot but I don't think I'm that bad :jamie: By the way I use Caltex Vortex 98 with a stock carbie.

used to get 400 of so ks from my twin carbed 5k (approx 35mpg for those who speak gods language). The stocker 3k before that would only get the same milage too.

 

Would be a lot less if I got up it though - seen half a tank disappear during a motorkhana.

800Kms?????? How? What size is ur petrol tank or do u tow a petrol tanker behind u lol?

i get 650km per tank driving like a granny, Dedicated LPG KE30 the filler is in the traditional spot and a huge tank fitted that takes up a lot of the boot.

I hope to get better as i am fitting a 5 speed shortly.
