minishoulders Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Hi Everyone. Just got my hands on a near overrated 4 door ke20. Spec: 1973 Delux 4 door sedan 3k 2 speed toyotglide Original 56000 km's not miles 2 owner, lady had it for 25 years, keeped in garage all its life. Lovely greeny yellow original paint. japanese assembled with all crome trimmings inside and out. Abit smokey but who can complain when its the original engine : ) Just need to put sum whitewall tyres on. Tell Me What You Think Of Her and what i should do to it. Quote
Redwarf Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 You should reco the engine and do precisely NOTHING to it. You have one of the rearest 20's in this country, and if you modify it in any way I will personally hunt you down and rip you a new one. My 2c. :jamie: Quote
harun Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Man Get some white walls on here, polish the shit out of it. That is all. Quote
dfunkt Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 F*#k me that's one gorgeous car! find some rubbish stock wheels, and park that thing in storage for another 10 yrs or so... Quote
Redwarf Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 I don't think so. It would have been a private import (probably from somewhere like PNG), so the mirrors are on the front guards, and there is no ADR plate on the side opposite the chassis number. I've only ever seen 2 other examples in many years, and its the same with them, as well. although this one is by far the best example. 4 door 10s are common compared to these......... Quote
Jono Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 no, i meant the ride height in the first pic Quote
dfunkt Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 judging by the background, i don't think it's been photochopped lower...it'd just be the angle the pic was taken. Quote

No hasnt been photoshoped, i had to lift the camera abit high as the sun was reflecting from the car into the lense. Does anyone know what the original size of the whitewall was for the corolla? Thanks for all the comments Quote
minishoulders Posted March 13, 2008 Author Report Posted March 13, 2008 oh and by the way, its an NZ new corolla. Only the jap assembeled came with mirrors on the guards. Quote
Tally Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 wow that is so bloody nice its not funni!!!! Love it!!! don't mod it. Keep it OG!!! Quote
benzo Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 I'm not sure on the whitewall size, but when I had mine done the guy who did them suggested 3/4 inch as he said that was most likely what Toyota would have used back then, so I went with him. I'm more of a fan of twins now, new 20 will be copping a set of twin whitewalls fo sho. Cheers, Ben. Quote
