reg_ke35 Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Hey mate, I find that Penrite HPR 30 does the job for me, I tried using the semi synthetic Penrite HPR 15 but was too thin. Hope this helps. Reg Quote

Felix Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) Yea, I just use whatever is on special for under $20 bucks for 5 or 6 liters. Pretty much any cheap oil these days is of much better quality than the oils when our cars came out. For example in the ke30 owners handbook it recommends API SC, SD or SE grade oil. Even the cheapest oil you can get now is of API sg/cd grade or better. With the lifters, just adjust them. Edited March 1, 2008 by Felix Quote

Des Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 motul sinthetic will work wonders for it Also work wonders on making your wallet empty for no good reason. 20w50 or even 25w50 semi synthetic is all thats needed. Quote
Felix Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Also work wonders on making your wallet empty for no good reason. 20w50 or even 25w50 semi synthetic is all thats needed. Exactly. What's the point of putting $45 oil into a $100 motor?? Now if you had some hipo turbo motor worth several grand, you'd go for the good stuff... Quote
Redwarf Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Pennzoil semi synthetic, or Penrite HPR 30. Quote
