SKA80R Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 Would anyone know what series of diff are used in the 92 townace(KR42R)??? S,T,G etc. I believe the track on this diff is 1445mm. Would this be suitable to bolt under a KE70 panelvan with lipped wheel arches? Can a lsd cantre with 4.3 ratio be purchased for this diff Cheers Quote

Jono Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 kr42 was 97 - 2004 i believe, the later ones have EFI. i'll get an axle code for you later on. i'm not sure if its the route you want to take, all the wreckers i've spoke too say blowing diffs is a common fault on these vans. i've considered a diff conversion on my van but i'm buying selling it and buying a hilux instead. If you can get the code..It would be appreciated.I thought the townace diff would of bolted straight into my panelvan Same stud pattern too I would be happy if I could just get a T series diff with a lsd..But as you know...They are becoming rarer Quote
