lowau Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 I have done a search but nothing has came up. Anyway I have successfully installed ford ED springs on the rear of the KE70 but the front ford springs are too thin for the KE70 struts. What have you guys used for the front springs for a KE70? I wouldn't mind people with first hand experience and not people saying that they should fit when the oviously havn't done it before. Quote
toyota_ae71 Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 pedders xr6 ef rear springs are going in the front of mine But ea-au rear springs should fit in the front aswell! Quote
lowau Posted February 16, 2008 Author Report Posted February 16, 2008 Thanks for that, so its ford rear springs all round. Quote
toyota_ae71 Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 yep thats the setup I'm running man! Cheers Corey Quote
superbmobile Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 use au ed ef eb ea ford springs they are all real similar and work alright. i used to use ea fairlane springs in the rear of my ae71, as fairlanes are heavier than a standard falcon they will get a slightly heavier spring rate. I used vl commodore rear springs in the front of my 71 they seemed to fit and work well in the standard 71/70 strut. Quote
