I will be there. I'll be at each round this year - not competing though.

 

I'll be there from 8am at the latest, but competition only starts at 9am.

Hrrm I don't want to have to get up any earlier then I have to. I will be competing if I get these rims of tim in time or my gf's stock rims fit. AFAIK getz's have a 4x100, I haven't bothered looking lol.

Stephen had issues with the offset or centre hole or something last time we tried fitting other rims - don't be surprised if you get a call on Saturday. :)

yeah it was strange, the rims fit well, BUT centre hole didnt go properly, couldnt get enough wheel nut on the studs ffs.

 

will test fit gf's gets rims, and hopefully they fit if not, will try the rims I will probably be buying off tim if they fit.

Tim's rims (lol) should fit as they're AE82 as well. If not, there's something weird going on.

Sorry - didn't see your post until just now Tim.

 

Motorkhana was good - waiting in the rain at Hughes for an hour and a half for no one to turn up sucked a bit. Was FREEZING in the Corolla's aircon on the way from Hughes to Hidden Valley. Couldn't turn it off as I had ice in the back of the car that I didn't want melting through the car.

 

CAMS officials seemed happy enough with the way things went. John Newman's Ferrari lasted the event - sounded AWESOME!!! Simon Bulasch & Zane Baldwin's Skyline Tank was kick arse - seemed to do a lot more circle work than each map specified. :)

 

Would have been good to have had more people there - the rain wasn't too bad and it made the surface nice and slippery. No surprises to see Stephen turn up and pussy out ASAP. Didn't enter any events and made excuses about not being able to use Alison's car - even though she stood there and said she'd told him he could use it. :hmm: And he didn't even hang around long enough to buy a sausage!!! ;)
