67Rolla-Ken Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) Just got my head unit, not changing it! I listen to the radio quite often, FM that is. Anyone know if you can get adapters that convert to digital radio?? Edited June 20, 2011 by 67Rolla-Ken Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) Not in WA. We have 92.1 RTR FM & 96FM, they're my stations of choice. Edited in 2011... wow, I hate 96FM now! Triple J all the way! :D Edited June 20, 2011 by 67Rolla-Ken Quote
JiP Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 lOl well only one station on AM rocks. Its got all the dance/club tracks. Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted October 25, 2009 Author Report Posted October 25, 2009 (edited) Just typed up a big message and lost it! Well got the drivers door internals fitted. Looking more like a car. The Lilavadee rubber kit off Ebay is rubbish, ended up binning every single rubber out of the kit. The front and rear window rubbers don't fit the chrome properly. :S Here's where she's at Finally put the rear plate back on :y: Edited June 20, 2011 by 67Rolla-Ken Quote
lovelyguru Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 hey u should go for the traditional look mate with the crome hub caps on some 13x5.5 inc wheels and white walls it will look like a show car awesome thread by the way great read  Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 Thanks. Yup I have the original 12" wheels and hubcaps, but 12" tires cost more than double 13" tires... I will get some 12" white wall tires for shows. Quote
36panvan Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 looking really neat and tidy mate, well done  bet you can't wait to drive it Quote
corollaart Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 Mate this has got to be the best example of this model ive ever seen, and thats before you started . Now i would like to see a better one any where in the country .[seriously] Bloody credit to you ,tastefully done . rob Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted October 28, 2009 Author Report Posted October 28, 2009 Thanks Rob... I have seen a couple on here that I would rate as better, but I'm pretty happy with the way she's turning out  By the way, I won't be putting any of the red stripes on the car... she really doesn't need them. The chrome strips finish her off perfectly. Quote
corolla_nut Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Hey, I was seriously thinking about getting that rubber kit off eBay for my ke10 and then saw your post... What's wrong with the rubbers? How bad are they? Do you have pics? I was wanting to get them off lilavadee but if they are shit then i am not going to be wasting $400 (need 2 one set for other half) on them. But the other option is to get them off rare spares or a similar place for $600 plus for one kit  Loving your car btw, it's good inspiration to get mine rolling on the road again :jamie: Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted October 28, 2009 Author Report Posted October 28, 2009 Thanks Corolla nut, you have a PM. Spend the money and get the proper kit from Clarke rubber, Scott's old auto rubber or from Rare Spares. You won't regret it. Quote
JiP Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 :jamie: I have a set of these rubbers for my hardtop. I hope they aren't that bad. Quote
greenmac80 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 i go the set from livadee or watever they are called for my 55 the door ones fit fairly well not perfect but still better than 20+yr old rubbers. not sure bout windscreen ones yet. Quote
