demuire Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 More or less. If you've sent all your forms off to HSCCQ, then if I'm not mistaken HSCCQ will send you out a membership card, and forward your CAMS application to CAMS. Then CAMS will send you out your licence. Heh, seeing as it's just turned into the off-season, maybe you should have waited till just before the season started again to do it all :insane: Oh well... Welcome to the world of motorsport :D Quote
demuire Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Now, all you other slackers with CAMS licences who haven't been coming to events (you know who you are!), hope to see you all in the 2005 Motorsport Season! Some of you have seen the calendar, it's HUGE, so you'd better be there! :insane: Quote
Medicine_Man Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Now, all you other slackers with CAMS licences who haven't been coming to events (you know who you are!), hope to see you all in the 2005 Motorsport Season! Some of you have seen the calendar, it's HUGE, so you'd better be there! :D my poor excuse is the oil leakage problem i was having, seem to have it sorted now, so should pass scrutineering ok :D was leaking around the spark plug galleys and pcv valve, dodged an oil catch can. Engine looked like the exxon valdez. anyway, i look foward to another motorkhana :insane: Quote
demuire Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Heh, if I'm not mistaken first one is Feb 13th? I can't seem to find that thread that I posted all the dates up now. So either I've lost it, I imagined it, someone deleted it, or I just can't use the search feature :insane: Quote
99 Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Way to go Trent, that is a great step in the right direction!! I would recommend signing up on the Queensland Motorsport Competitors Register at http://www.qldmotorsport.com.au/. It's a free service where you register and they email you the supplementary regulations about events you are interested in. The supplementary regulations tell you what to do and when - eg, how to enter, where to turn up, what requirements your car must fulfil. It is unfortunate that you will have to wait a little while before your first event though!! but good on you. Quote
trdcamrypride Posted November 30, 2004 Author Report Posted November 30, 2004 yes i will try to get to as many events as i can and as i can't get my learners until Feb 22 then i might not be to alot this first 6 months or so but i will try my best to get there. fook: i do remember you putting up that thread but i couldn't find it either. trdcamrypride Posted November 30, 2004 Author Report Posted November 30, 2004 (edited) what would be the easiest event for me to do to start off with. Edited November 30, 2004 by trdcamrypride Quote
Mr Revhead[RL] Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 what about a club champs? i reckon you guys that are competiting should have a little competition amoungst yaselves! good fou you that I'm over here, cause me and mr 20v woul dthrash you all!! :insane: Quote
99 Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Motorkhana is easiest and cheapest to start with. AGREE 100% with Mr Revhead, a Rollaclub championship is definitely in order! Quote
demuire Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Haha, a Rollaclub championship, that would rock. We'd need many more members (who would actually participate) though, to make it financially viable. Getting grounds isn't cheap :insane: Quote
trdcamrypride Posted December 1, 2004 Author Report Posted December 1, 2004 motorkhana it is then. i will try to get to the first one next year. a rollaclub challenge would be heaps fun. Quote
demuire Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Hehe, maybe we can go to Nick's place at Burpengary and have a "practice motorkhana" :insane: Quote
