well its a sad day for ke20 lovers as another one is looking like its life has been tragicaly cut short. yes my 20 looks to be written off as a retarded drunk indian f*** T-boned me today as i was turning onto the m5. the stupid f*** pulls through a give way sign and spins me around. ill try put pics up later.

Well i have a story to tell..

 

Recently, a mate of mine by the name of Cameron was having a night out with mates. He is recently 18 and works at Safeway. Well.. his mates decided to go for a cruise as you do. Funnily enough this was a driver error, no alcohol involved. Lost control through a turn and went passenger side first into a tree, Cameron was sitting front passenger seat. He is now in the Alfred Hospital with two broken arms, two broken legs, broken pelvis, cracked skull, broken ribs, and a ruined next few years.

 

Thinking of you Cam, get better mate ;)

 

P.S: The car was a write off, not surprised. Not sure what type of car though.

 

damn that sucks. I Hope for him to have a speedy recovery

well probably buy it back from insurance company strip it keep what i wont for the next one and sell the rest, ill post up some pics later my dad and mate took some pics with there phone but she don't look pretty. ;)

That brings a tear to my eyes to see that, But in all honesty it only really damaged the door and shell. the guards, boot, front end, bonnet, tail lights are all still intact so all the harder to get parts are still ok...still hurts to see one like this, especially one so nice.

 

What sort of insurance did you have on it? Comprehensive?

yeah fully comprehensive with gio. was insured for $4000 but the car was priceless to me. does anybody know how much ill be charged to buy the car back if they write it off.

They will invite you to offer a tender on the wreck. (you only get one shot at this btw)

 

Rule of thumb is to offer 10% of the insured value.

I would of been tempted to start any guy who crashes into my car once it's done.. Car isn't just about the money sometimes. It's all the memories and hard work that goes into it and can't be payed off with cash..

:D Driving around last night in Morphett Vale (Adelaide), I spotted what i thought was a light blue KE30 with sun shade. not %100 sure coz it was dark rain etc. But it was parked on south road with damage to the front left of the car, Cops, ambos towtruck etc. Just wondering what happend and if it was a fellow rolla club member that had there precious crumpled. :yes:

i have had an alright accident which i walked away from and went to work the next day i know its not a rolla but if i don't this to my keto i would h8 myself forever. i was at buli overpass going to turn up the hill for any1 who knows the area and the sun was in my eyes couldnt see tto far by the time i could there was a car coming down the hill if he were doing the speed limit i would of made it past him but 40kph over the limit will get you tboned like this 1 but it teaches you to look before you jump since i have only been done for a burnout other than that havent been caught lol

other than that, ive hit 1 roo, 2 possums, 2 birds, 1 pushbike rider and a bug that was big enough to bend a wiper arm

 

before i cop crap, the bike rider was riding the wrong way around a round about, which is on a blind hillcrest, in the wet, at night, wearing black.

 

i figure if he's that stupid, if i didnt hit him, someone else would have

 

I'll probably cop some shit over this but I feel nothing for most cyclists that get hit (there are those hits that aren't accidents that shouldn't happen). Most cyclists think they own the road and do nothing more then try to insight accidents. For one they should have to pay some kind of registration so they are accountable for their actions, 2, they should be obeying the road rules and 3 they should follow the same driving ethics that everyone else should be applying. I guess 3 should be discounted though, 'cause motorists don't have any ethics anymore either.

Not the best pic, but this is what's left of my sister-in-law's focus. She was driving on a gravel road she has to take to and from work each day. Haven't got many details yet but it rolled twice and landed on it's side. She's a bit shaken but no serious injuries. They have had nothing but problems from this car from day one, it finally had a good quality...
