fusion Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 Anyone know about the changing of colour to a car and what would be required by law to make it all 'A' ok? I will ring up on Monday if no one knows the answer . . . I'm guessing the least would be to notify them as it doesn't affect any part of the cars performance or saftey. Quote
MYSTIK[RL] Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 as far as i know all you have to do is notify them that the colour of the car has changed :D Quote

Jordan Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 to change the colour or engine number is simply a form, and required no cost. Only hassle is having to wait in the line jordan Quote
Chet Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 On the same topic-ish, does anyone know the law about turning left on a red light? i heard a few years ago, that the law changed, so when you want to turn left, and your faced with a round red light, and its safe to turn, you can? cheers, chet Quote

Chet Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 are you sure? because i swear to god i knew that adelaide was the only stupid place in the world that didnt let you turn left at red lights.. and then i swear i heard the rule got changed due to a petition..... Quote
Valandor Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 (edited) there is also one of these signs down here at christies beach. i think its more that at alot of our lights we don't have the lil side street that lets you turn left at red lights. melbourne you can't turn left at red lights but you can if it has the side street. you know the ones they have the little triangle refugee island for pedestrians. the only reason you can turn left at them is because technically the side part is not included in the main intersection and is a whole new intersection on its own.
