Jason Posted October 4, 2006 Author Report Posted October 4, 2006 (edited) yahhh!!!! :)  my wallet just got rapped by toyota again, injector insulators   but the fuel rail is on now :)  now all it need is fuel from the tank to the front, and intercooler hosing :) for that i scored about 2.5 m of 2.5inch stainless steel pipe for free eheheh  also my reconed 70amp alternator arived its from a 5sfe and i think ive got to mod the braket to fit. If any one has the alternator tensioner aswel ill pay, i could go to the wreakers but they will also rape my wallet, dam scabs Edited October 4, 2006 by Jason Quote
beerhead Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Geez that's looking good, so close hey, The cut and shut on the manifold looks great too, gotta outflow the stock GZE manifold majorly. Quote
Jason Posted October 5, 2006 Author Report Posted October 5, 2006 omg i finally finished the throttle linkage and its so heavy :2thumbs: its not the cable which i origanly through it was, no, its just the massive spring tesntion on the TB :n: Quote
ancullen Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 That's alright. When cops pull you over for having a lead foot, you can just use the excuse that you need it due to the heavy throttle. :2thumbs: Quote
Jason Posted October 5, 2006 Author Report Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) i think i found the problem, when i mouted the cable it was slighty offset, so when it pulls in it rubs on the cable inlet causeing it to feel harsh. So I'm gona slot the hole tmoz  update master and return fuel lines are in, runniong rubber main and old main steel tubing. Turns out the the modifcation to the braket were some grinding of one of the supports and making up a braket so the alternator sits verticleish.  AND went to get an order for some custom made igiy leads... Since I'm using a weird coilpack from the states the plug leads are really differant which jakcs up the price, so thats gona cost around $100 :2thumbs: Edited October 5, 2006 by Jason Quote
Jason Posted October 9, 2006 Author Report Posted October 9, 2006 well ive done a bit more but found out my import tail shaft isnt gona get here until atlest late next month.... uhhhhhhhhhhhh Quote
Jason Posted October 19, 2006 Author Report Posted October 19, 2006 (edited) time for a little update. Â Well spark leads should be done by next week (they were out of red wire :S and only had yello) Â Ive decied to ditch the 1jz intercooler for a 1 sided bar and plate cooler. Bot in and out are on the same side. Its slighty smaller but its thicker (100mm!) but since it avoids piping around the whole engine bay it should reduce any lag or idle hunting problems and with nicer flow, should only have two bends :S Â also teddy came round with the good of a new clutch master today :D thanks teddy ;) i just intsalled it now and bleed it. Wow it sure is heavy :S got main and return fuel in now. All it needs to run now is the cooler and plumbing and leads :D Edited October 19, 2006 by Jason Quote
