Jason Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 well i hit some problems with the dead line as there were some complication with the motor... any way its a tight fit every where, between the 2 manifold and between the charger and the engine bay... Quote
demuire Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Just stumbled on this thread, I'm at work so I've just been flicking through the pages and not really reading too much. WOW. I've come to the conclusion that: Jason + Teddy + Justin = Perfect Car. Jason: After all that effort in getting your car sorted and put together virtually perfectly, why don't you put a proper box around your radiator? Doesn't take much time (took me only a few hours to do mine, including head scratching and measuring and cutting and waiting for paint to dry). Would probably work a lot better, and you won't risk damaging your rather nice looking radiator. Vibration and screws in your radiator fins (even if they are padded) is not your friend. Quote
lappy Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 jeez close fit, nice engine tho good to see some progress  Quote
Jason Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 hmmm, so did you just fold it out of some sheet metal? ill see what i can to tomorow then. Yeah i was woried abou the virbration... Quote

Dan Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I have just read this entire thread from front to back (took me like an hour lol), and all I can say is f@$k! you've put alot of time and effort into this car, and I know how it is harder to put the effort in when you have school related shit to finish in your 'spare time'... You've gave me the inspiration to hurry up, finish my ke55 coupe and go out and do a AE71 (I used to f@$king hate these cars before tonight )... You and bloody Teddy and your ke70/ae71's :abuse: Dan. Quote
demuire Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 If you crash this car, I'm going to take strips off yo ass !! this things gona be so thumbs_up_trans.gif when its done. There is a new rule. Teddy, Jason and Justin are not allowed to crash their cars. Jason: Yes, folded up sheet metal. 1mm steel I think. Or maybe it was aluminium. I can't remember. I made it in two halves cause it was too hard to cut the hole out otherwise. Well, too hard with just a pair of tin snips anyway. Quote
Dan Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 Second new rule: Once a year, Teddy, Jason and Justin all have to build Dan a car  Quote
