ae71neo Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 (edited) T-50's are getting a little rare (which is why we have 2 spares  ), and the popularity of ae86's at the moment people pay good money for them. Edited December 27, 2004 by ae71neo Quote

Jason Posted January 2, 2005 Author Report Posted January 2, 2005 ok since the diffs out, and the cars up, i want to change the fuel lines, i know i can use the main line as the return. Probably need a surge tank, and VL fuel pump... Jeez that will be hard 2 find. But what size fuel lines do you guyes recommend? Quote
Jason Posted January 2, 2005 Author Report Posted January 2, 2005 (edited) Yeah people recommend you use surge tanks, although its not necessary. Yere i realize you can't run rubber the whole way, i like having everything solid any way, less rubber the better. will 5/16 be good? Thats pretty easy to find and a fun day of bending it... OK no second hand parts. p.s Looking good mate thanks  Edited January 2, 2005 by Jason Quote
Teddy Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 Nick, your help and comments are ALWAYS most apreshated ;) - ill alwyas have time to listen to what you have to say  Ill see what i can do about geting a non-genuinte VL pump, I'm always up for cutting the corners on prices, but not on quality :) Quote
Jason Posted January 2, 2005 Author Report Posted January 2, 2005 yes, would you by any chance have the specs on those pumps? or know were i could get them? Quote
demuire Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 My VL pump is 2nd hand, seems to still be working fine. If I'm not mistaken they are the same as the Camira pump? Not sure though. Surge tank is a good idea if you can afford it. EFI engines don't like running out of petrol, people tell me it damages the injectors or something, again not sure. If you're not going to run a surge then just try not to drive around with less than 1/4 tank. And you can add a surge tank later on anyway, just have to plan ahead to accomodate. I *think* I used 5/16 lines in my car. So that's 5/16 to the engine, and the original (1/4?) for returns. Quote
mumblezzz Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 I agree with fook about the surge tank. Definitly get one if you can. I ran my car for a short period with a surge tank and whenever the level started to get close to 1/4 it would start to surge taking corners. Not driving hard or anything but it gets quite annoying.
