a surge tank i whould recomend or get your tank baffled and foam filled which will stop the surge to you get downto the last 10l is say but a surge tank gives ya a bit more protection and probly cheaper to.

as for fuel line id run 7/16 or bigger cause then you'll have as much fuel as you'll want and if you go power hungry later on you wont have to upgrade it again

Ok ive been thinking about the fuel system, get a custom surge tank made to fit into the side bit go the boot (were all the tail light wires go) then use a VL pump as main feed and a 'pre pump' to feed the surge tank.

But i don't know what ill will need for the pre pump, or is it over kill.

No, that's exactly what you'll need. For the prepump you'll need a low pressure high volumn pump, similar to what you'd use in a carby car, like a Facet style one. Would probably be cheaper than a high pressure one.

For safety reasons I'd be inclined not to put the surge tank in the side of the car, put it closer to the center of the car else if you get a prang on the side you'll be in trouble.

I herd that it can't be inside the cabin? Or is the boot counted as the cabin?

Other wise ill have to squeeze in the engine bay, or under neith

It has to be in a separate "compartment" to the cabin. In the case of the KE70, you will need to seal off the boot from the cabin. I'm not familiar with KE70's so I'm guessing here.

Can you fold the rear seats down in a KE70? Basically you'll have to get a piece of aluminium or steel sheet, and make a "firewall" between the cabin and boot. The boot is naturally already ventilated normally, through drainage holes in the floor.

If you are going to get a surge tank custom made anyway, I'd suggest going one under the floor anyway, just to keep things neat, and so that you can actually use your boot space. In my car, I don't put anything in the boot because the thought of things flying around my boot and knocking my fuel pumps/surge tank over is no fun. And being a KE70, you can just get one specially made for an AE86 (Anthony Kellam sells these), AE86 ones go under the floor because the "boot" is the same compartment as the cabin.

Ok just had a quick look, theres not much room? How bigs your surge tank?

Also do fuel lines have to be a special type of metal or can u just go down to any pluming shop and buy 10m of it? (metal)

and what about the rubber? is there any place were i can get a few meters of that for connections?

You'll have to speak to Kellam for that, or someone else who has one of those surge tanks. From memory I think they were 1L. Mine is 1L, but mine is in my boot, and mine is a KE35.

Metal lines are just standard bundy line. I got mine from my engineer, I would assume any other plumbing shop would have it too.

Rubber lines make sure you get EFI fuel hose. I got mine from... umm. Hmm, can't remember. Supercheap sell it, but only in small quantity. I got most of mine from one of the hose suppliers (look up yellowpages)
