Al25 Tercel/*e7* Interchangeability

Hey,

I've been looking at different stock toyota upgrades, and came across the 17mm tercel rear swaybar upgrade. This got me wondering, does the tercel have a borgy like E7s? Searching on tercel4wd/google, i found hints that the tercel has a T series diff, so I was interested to know if this is a viable upgrade option, like the T18 diff.

I've had a few AL25 turtles. Its not a borgwarner, but not a T either.

 

Its a Y series (302) which is a 158mm crown wheel and 3.727 ratio. Not much good as a performance upgrade but much harder to break than a borgwarner which to the best of my knowledge is made entirely from balsawood and papier mache.
