Is it possible 2 replace the stock front splitter and put on the one u got from gavatron, or does the stock one have to be on aswell? Did u paint the door jams? Â The splitter is on there?? the splitter goes straight over the top... mine original was all banged up so it made fitment hard.. the new one actually bolts to the original one.. so to make things sit nicer i cut the bottom half of the splitter off. and also your quarter panels curve inward while the new splitter curves outwards.... ugly side on so i chopped the bottom of my quarter panels off too. makes it all flush. Â yeah it isnt a perfect addition. but i must admit it still looks very the part. and in my case definately beats that other ugly thing i had bolted on the front. Â the join on mine is covered up more so by some long old school 55 bumpers :yes: (now with the front in chrome... greenmac80 Posted March 2, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 Hey'all changed to my 5 speed today!! what a pain in the ass the gear box just wouldn't come out the spigott bearing came out of the block!! so i had to drop the clutch at the same time as the box!! its heaps better now though!! goes heaps better with new clutch and its waaay quieter!!!
