greenmac80 Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 Hi mate project is looking good, i noticed that the front gaurd and apron is a little damaged are you fixing it or painting over it. :hmm: Car should look great when its finished. :2thumbs: ahahes she is really mangled but you have the bumper to cover some and i have one of those splitters coming and that covers the rest of it up! Your brackets are just the same as mine (well sorta), and did you drill holes in the stone tray to locate the bottom? At least yours is one with a cap, mine didn't have one, so I had to get a pipe made up with one in it. didn't have to drill holes just kinda flattend the pins a little and they slid straight into these little holes that were already there! not a bad do for 70bucks! Apparently ppg is trying to kiss our salesmens butt to get them some extra work sooooo we are trying to stoog a trial tin of paint out of them! which means free! so maybe atomic is still gonna happen will keep ya'll posted. Bought that splitter from gavatron... here it is.... also my paint has arrived free of charge!!! ...... also here is my attempt at makin a new door trim... didn't work too well was too this in the end for the door handles to work... so yeah back to square one! Today i scored myself a clutch plate... mine is stuffed... unknown brand or type.. here it is.... anyone have any idea what type it is? cos the one i have is exedy but it weighs half of this one and only has 4 springs while this one has heaps more! Also i scored a KE55 5 speed box.... will post pictures later after cleaning,,, and also i scored this VDO oil pressure guage! anyone interested in it? no sender... make an offer... will get the sender and test if it works.
