KE30_KE35_KE55 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Got any ideas on how to get this out??????? I borrow off a mate a magna spot dent puller simply spot weld a special nail onto the dent then use a slide hammer with a chuck similar to a drill chuck. You may be able to hire from somewhere like tech rentals. Quote
greenmac80 Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 :no2: What are you doing with the old?? :jamie: the old pillar plastics?? ummmm nufin they pretty crap! both bottoms are broken off. and one screw won't do up cos its broken there. they aren't quit overrated. the passenger has a hairline crack down the bottom but i have accsess to polywelder. the drivers one i got has the bottom but the screw tab is broken! my plan is with both to shave that screw tab off! will look neater that way! and i'll probs you a small amount of glue to hold them in better! cos i'm redoing the whole car the interior plastics will be the last thing i do so once they are on the won't have to come off! also toyoland is sourcing me some good ones as well so i may have two sets of supergood ones soon!! if i can get a drivers side one with the screw tab then i'll keep em both! but if i can't i'll shave em! neither of them have broken screw bit even ay!! stoked! if you want my old ones i can send you a photo but they aren't really worth anything.
