I'm so happy....Tomorrow if all goes well. Ill be buying a ke30 corolla with a 2T-GEU and 5 speed box for a donor for my KE70.

It has the twin solex carbs. I also will be on the look out for the fuel injected manifold to suit as i already have fuel injection all set up in the car on the current motor..

I'm hoping as the other car has been fully converted. most of it can be used in my ke70.

I'm now going to look for any info on the conversion in the forums

Ill update tomorrow.

Apparently the fuel injection systems on these early motors are VERY poor. Hence why it has the twin solexs instead. I take it youve got an aftermarket computer for the KE70 so Id be using the loom thats already in the car and slapping the injectors in an EFI manifold that I might be able to find for you.

yeah i have a microtech lt8 in the rolla now. so its not a problem.

so just the manifold with the throttle body and injectors and fuel rail is all that i need.

I'm now the owner of a ke30 corolla

after going over the car I am going to keep it and sell the ke70.

saves me alot of work and its a 2 door.

machanics of the ke70 are far better than the ke30 eg rack steering, coil spring rear.

but the ke30 has after market bigger front sway bar, lowered pedder front springs etc.

will take pics this weekend.

wheel spin is fun, including backing off in second to get traction back (I only had standard wheels when i picked it up.)

And i think for the sum of $900 with rego, I think I did ok.

Nice pick up.

Throw the Solexs away, they're more trouble than they're worth. Webers are much better and easier to set up.

Irokin is right, the Feul injection for them is 70's technology.

Anyway, Webers sound better!
