Golberg Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 I thought the 4AGE's were EFI? Until somebody goes and pulls off all the fuel injection stuff and throws on carbies as I imagine has happened here. Quote
h1_roll4 Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 spot on, it has been converted. the carbs are apparently alot more responsive than th efi Quote
HIGH ROLLER Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 spot on, it has been converted. the carbs are apparently alot more responsive than th efi haha not to mention a sh*t load simpler...only tuning tools you need is a screwdriver and a straight road! haHAHA Good job champ, looking Carb-tastic... So u carbing up? on a high-carb diet? hahaha ok, enough with the carb jokes...just had to humour myself. Cheers, Mark M Quote
h1_roll4 Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 and its a shitload easier to put in to a ke70. don't have to f@$k around with ecu, and wiring loom n shit. everything from the 4k just bolts straight back onto the new engine. Quote
h1_roll4 Posted April 23, 2008 Author Report Posted April 23, 2008 just a lil somethin. spoke to the previous owner of the engine and this is what i learnt -hks cams -hks manifold and carbs -jasma extractors -the head was done 600kms ago -i have to heat wrap the extractors so they don't melt the distributor cap :hmm: but on a plus to that he said after swappng it for a 4agze, it goes harder than the stock gze. can't wait to get this thing moving!
