h1_roll4 Posted August 19, 2008 Author Report Posted August 19, 2008 took the carbs off last night and there getting checked out sometime this week. i want it to drive already!!!! Quote
h1_roll4 Posted August 21, 2008 Author Report Posted August 21, 2008 cos I'm bored of doing nothing to the car i thought i might get some painting done on it. namely the rocker covers and if i can the engine bay/as much of it as i can get to. i know i should have painted the engine bay with out the engine in but i didnt know it would be not running for this long. so... engine bay colour and rocker cover colour i will be paying to get the rocker covers powdercoated because i want them to look decent. engine bay I'm not to fussed about. h1_roll4 Posted March 5, 2009 Author Report Posted March 5, 2009 back from holiday, back into the pain of this thing. ive done some panel work since being back, smoothed over the badge holes in the boot lid, and also the holes where the mirror screwed into on the drivers door. i found gasket kits for the carbs so they will be rebuilt soon! also picked up a mikuni carb sticker... gota reprizent! still am struggling with fitting the carbs in with the brake booster tho. pics of body work soon Quote
