Jono Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 have you thought of getting the extractors ceramic coated instead of wrapping them? Quote

beerhead Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 I doubt you'll have much tuning it with a screwdriver :lolcry: But the last owner probably had the jets and chokes set right at some point. What's the deal with the ignition? Doesn't look like a standard dizzy, is it on points with mech or vaccum advance, or is it on an electronic module? Quote
Naife Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 havnt got it started yet. its not getting spark :lolcry: is the rotor button spinning? is there power at the coil? is the coil receiving a negative signal? Quote

I'm prity sure its mechanical advance. not 100% tho. is the rotor button spinning? is there power at the coil? is the coil receiving a negative signal? i think its not getting power at the coil Quote
Naife Posted April 28, 2008 Report Posted April 28, 2008 i think its not getting power at the coil if your not getting any voltage at the coil run a wire directally from the battery. if it starts sparking then theres obviously a fault with your wire. Quote
