hi,

well basicly i just baught a ae71 a few weeks agow and i herd that this is a common occurance in the tail lights according to sbox

so i decided i'd have a go at trying to repair it insted of buying new ones because the rest of the light fitting is fine its just that area

I basicly just measured it up cut some cardboard out to suit the size

this is just taped on just to show u what it looks like

i fitted it up and taped it on for now

i plan on some sort of fiberglassing it in and make it to shape

which i'll do tomorrow

well today i finnished it off

i started by going shopping at all trusty bunnings i baught a fiberglassing kit primer and black spraypaint

 

i mixed it up and layerd it on one side then both sides

it started to get windy and cloudy so i hurried up ahahahah

when the fiberglass dryed i painted both the houseing and the fitting for the wires in primer grey

then when that all dryed i sprayed it in all in black and fitted them in

and yeah thats it

i think it looks good
