oh what a nissan feeling! Posted July 6, 2011 Author Report Posted July 6, 2011 Ah, damn. Still waiting to borrow the breathing apperatus(spelling?) from the old man to finish the paint, the panels have been ready to go for a while now. Head has been sent off to bullet for cnc port job + larger valves fitted. Fitting the fuel tank this arvo, still need a new camera though- not a big fan of shopping. Still haven't seen your ride yet, don't you ever come to the land of the sunny coast? I guess redcliff is the end of the earth... Quote

oh what a nissan feeling! Posted July 23, 2011 Author Report Posted July 23, 2011 yep all standard firewall, not allowed to mess with that here in qld, the motor will hide most of the funny shapes i think. Quote

_FNQ_rolla_ Posted July 23, 2011 Report Posted July 23, 2011 Looking good Just a question with regards to your brake master (I think could be a Commodore PBR type) and reservoir is it off the KE3* or KE55. Do they bolt/mate up together as it looks better then the Commodore reservoir when fitted to a Corolla. Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted July 23, 2011 Author Report Posted July 23, 2011 (edited) Yeh mate it does bolt straight up, but only on the 15/16 commodore one, if you use the 1" the ke55 reservior does not fit. Well thats what my brother found when he was trying to do the same thing. I think the 15/16 ones are found on the earlier v6 commos (vn ish). They are pretty cheap to buy complete new, probably the best option. Edited July 23, 2011 by oh what a nissan feeling! Quote
cuzzo Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 And fit on the ke55 booster only. It is an awesome colour! I really like the position for the fuel filler. How many litres do you think the drop tank would hold? You have the fuel pumps intank now I'm guessing? Where are you putting your spare wheel? Cheers, Adam Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted July 24, 2011 Author Report Posted July 24, 2011 thanks man.Drop tank is 75 ish litres, i havn't had it changed to suit internal, I'm not putting the surge tank in the boot anymore, and thought i had room to put one on the drivers side of the drop tank. It turns out the room there is limited, and a bit of a headache. In hindsight i should have got the tank modified to run two bosch 040's internally, but i now have an expensive holley 150gph lift pump, aeromotive filter and 044, so i really need to make a surge tank work somehow. Crowie55 Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 Thought I was missing a car in my usual site lurkings, looking great man the green and those wheels really work together; keep the good work up! Cheers, Crowie. Quote
