MarkSA Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 My horn doesnt work  Is there any other fuse boxes other than the one near the battery under the bonnet? What other reasons could it be? any help would be appreciated Quote
7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) It would be helpful to know what kind of car... but anyway In most toyotas, the horn fuse is in the fuse block above the driver's side kick panel. Under the dash. I can pretty much guarantee It won't be a fuse though. First check the connections on the horn itself. Pull them off, put them back on and give them a bit of a wiggle. Sometimes it can be the contacts behind the buttons on the steering wheel, or, there is a small brass contact on a spring where the wheel hub meets the steering column. Sometimes the lube on these dries out and they bind on the contact ring and fly off. Also the horn itself could be full of dust and crap or just rusted out. They do that. 7shades Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Not too sure about the twinky wheels, but I can assume you just either pull it off or unscrew it from behind. Quote
