Jono Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 the panel looks the same as on normal late model ke2x's so you could weld a new one on. Quote
13BT_KE20 Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 sweets!!! good to know there a few KE2# terrorizing the streets..... Well, soon to be again anyway :P Quote
Sim Posted November 24, 2007 Author Report Posted November 24, 2007 ill see how i go with the existing rad support, might just beable to weld up the existing support. haha cheers mate, won't b on the road for awhile though :P. Quote
Sim Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Posted November 25, 2007 did a little bit more too it today, all the steering bits are out, front struts, ripped the exhaust out (fken huge), pulled the tailshaft out. only things left underneath are the diff/trans and motor. gonna drop the diff down sometime during the week, once i've sussed it out. while I'm typing stuff, the rear jack stands are supported by the diff axles atm, once the diff is out, what would be a suitable place to put jack stands? as there'll be nothing left underneath. Rollaboy2608 Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 I reckon those seats could be 323 turbo? my brother used to have one and they look mighty similiar... Quote
Sim Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 a mate seems to think they are Starion seats. either way there coming out lol. Quote
radrollaz Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Nice car  But what front seats are those? I kind of like the look of them ;) Hi mate those seats are from a mazda familia and also the older mazda astina .I put them into some of my corollas a few years back and i remember them fitting easily but for one braket. These days i'd get some proper mounts done as i had them in their a little bogy  Quote
radrollaz Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I reckon those seats could be 323 turbo? my brother used to have one and they look mighty similiar... Thats it rollaboy most of the older turbo mazdas had them, they are actually very nice seats i reckon . Quote
KRASHDOG Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 you got it buddy..... it realy looks like mine!!!! i like the cooler on top jayson Quote
Sim Posted November 29, 2007 Author Report Posted November 29, 2007 thanks guys. lol the first thing i did was remove the top mount, its so horribly restrictive the way it was. since the corolla bonnet doesn't hav any vents/scoops like RX7's, it would overheat like a bastard in no time. and I'm not a fan of vents n shit n i don't wanna cut up my bonnet so I'm going to a front mount. kangaroosa Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Any news from an engineer on this project? I talked to one a few months back about putting a N/A 13B into my KE30. I was knocked back due to new Vic Roads laws that are more restrictive on powerful engine upgrades. But, i got the approval on a 12A (which will be happening early next year). Quote
Jono Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 a panel van is a commercial vehicle, no limits in NSW at least. Quote
