i know you guys have probably already gone over this a thousand times but i was wondering what suspension i could/should run. Currently i have whiteline control springs all-round, with standard monroe gt gas shocks. Sorry if this has been a faq but any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks :lolcry:

I used to have one of these, it handled beautifully, here is what I had...

TRD front shocks and springs

Pedders rear shocks and springs

camber pins all corners

whiteline rear swaybar

positive caster bushes front

I also made a slight upgrade to AE101 supercharged front brakes, larger slotted front rotors, and braided front lines

I also had Yoko Advan intermediate slicks on Watanabe rims

The car was supercharged, I had traction and understeer problems before these parts were applied. The Whiteline swaybar fixed the understeer, and the tyres definitely fixed the traction. The whole setup probably cost me around $2500 with a mix of new and used parts

Hope this helps cheers, Nathan

:lolcry: Thanks so much Nathan, do u know what the product codes were for the TRD shocks and springs and when you upgraded the brakes did you have to upgrade the booster or master cylinder? I am currently running st162r celica front calipers ,vented and slotted rotors and have done the sx rear brake upgrade, as my model is a csx , Thanks again Nathan i really appreciate the assistance and knowledge as i like to do most of the work on my car myself .

No idea on the TRD stuff. I got them second hand with the brakes, but they were like new. No upgrade required for master and booster, as the piston is only slightly bigger than the SX model piston. Braided lines probably made the biggest difference to pedal feel to be honest. They werent cheap though!!!
