MIS20V Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Hey guys Just finnished the 20V conversion on my AE82 so i thought id throw it up here! Future mods are the Tints, King lows and a general body tidy up I'm also interested in any easy mods to do to the 20V. I went this option over the GZE as i am still on P's and will be for a few years and thus no Turbo allowed. Any suggestions? leigh Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Nice looking hatch! :P These cars are lil rockets with the 20v's in them! Quote
HEKTIC Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 firstly i'd like to say well done! it looks to be a nice car so far! if i was you this is what i would do next: -a wash/cut n polish -i'd go lower, but i don't really know what your into (grip, drags, ripping some e-brake, or of course posing/cruising) and whether or not getting up steep driveways is a priority or not! -new wheels -then possibly some "racing" seats for the front that give abit more support for those "spirited" moments Quote
4AGE_BOI Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Hey, I have just made the same conversion in the extended back version of your car. Awesome Huh, ATM it is at J-Racing in ACT and is getting the following: Port, Polished and Balanced Head. Valves Seated, Springs, shims and Buckets. TRD Headgasket Higher compression. It already has the following: 272 Deg cams. 550 Hp Fuel pump, new fuel lines. Twin Plated Clutch. We should meet up! Quote
MIS20V Posted November 3, 2007 Author Report Posted November 3, 2007 yeah they are pretty awsome cars, i definatly want to get some racing seats :) but i will get the heart pumping right before i worry about the body. I'm thinking of just going a nice pearl white for the respray because i wanted to keep it stock-ish. I would love to go lower but i travel on alot of back roads and with the ways i drive its not a good idea LOL.Yeah would like to meet up would be cool. Also hopefully i get her resprayed before the next cruize. ash. Quote
