cuzzo Posted December 22, 2010 Author Report Posted December 22, 2010 i have one question on the cooler setup, would it be able to pass engineers? with so much being cut out and all. Yeah it will. I has been restrengthened with the surrounding of the cut out section tied into the top and bottom. Besides marty and mick have theres the same way and john from consolmotive has engineered them no problemos Quote
LXY-642 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 awesome as :) defiantly love the cooler setup then, my cousin's gonna hate me when i take to the freshly undercoated front with the grinder on mine. lol. so more focus on drags rather then circuit this time around? still staying manual? Trev Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Didn't notice it in the thread so sorry if it has been covered but why is the tunnel cut out? Quote
cuzzo Posted January 30, 2011 Author Report Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Yeah hasnt been mentioned. A mate is building a ke20 and figured he could use a larger tunnel and fit it in the ke20. This will be full steam ahead when i get back from OS. Around late march. Edited January 30, 2011 by cuzzo Quote

cuzzo Posted May 3, 2011 Author Report Posted May 3, 2011 Some more updates. My 2 door is coming along albiet slowly.... This is the rear quarter. It had been replaced before and not in the factory location so the join was a bit dodgey. Especially when i tried to file it flat down and then it cracked. So i had to reweld it up, shape it with the oxy and then fill it. Also there was a section near the door with a vertical crease. I tried panel beating it out but then it stretched the metal. So out came the oxy again and i shaped it flat again and then a small amount of filler to get it smooth. Theres alot of other panel beating required. So working through that. I need to do something about this wheel arch also. Should i just add flares or strip that bog and weld in whole new section. Its not perfected round and i need to get it to match the other side. Height and roundness to match. Suggestions? The old girl. Off to scrap heaven. Quote

_FNQ_rolla_ Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 So what did you do about the rear quarter? Bog sculpture or another one? Quote
