does anyone know where you can get paint that matchs your origional car paint??

 

my car colour code on my ke30 1977 SE is something like AK from memory..

 

any info on this cheers cam

most places that sell auto paint can mix it to match the manufacturers code. Although being the fact that the car is 30 years old the code might be hard to match

umm i was in super cheap auto the other day and they have a few books with heaps of cars paint codes in it, find your car in th book and find the colour :lolcry:

Where abouts in SA or Adelaide are you located ?

crash supplies. at Winsor gardens have the best paint lab in adelaide. but can be expensive,

Paint supplys at hendon have a good product at a good price.

Protec at Gilman have a cheap paint at a cheap price.

Holts gloss black is also top stuff. I rubbed mine down with some 600 grit before I painted and it came up unreal.

 

 

piss off that export crap. Holts is real nice and easy to spray. Goes on very nice.

 

Powdercoating is all good, but I reckon you should save the effort and rattle can it, using good rattle can.
