jaygore Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 oh wow... hahaha and i was just there on the weekend lol... How much would you be looking at for it Quote
silverra23 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Would a Te27 strut brace suit a KE20? If they do I am certain Cusco would do one for them, which you could get through AJPS. That is if you don't want to buy Tate's one which is already here and landed :) Quote
Tally Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 cusco japan make them for te27, same as ke20 so fit, ajps.com.au can get em in for ya... Quote
Raven Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Or I can get them in directly from Japan and undercut AJPS ;) Group buy? Quote
Budowski Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 ooooooo undercut how much we talkin might throw some cash around Quote
wagn Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 i recently purchased a new cusco te27 strut brace form japan for $180 shipped Quote
Raven Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) Might be able to sort out a decent price if I get more than 5 people interested. Those who are seriously interested, PM me and I'll make some enquiries. My Chaser Cusco strut brace was $195 shipped to my door, but prices vary depending on vehicle. There are also two types. Round bar and Oval bar. Oval of course looks more dressy in the engine bay, but it costs more to buy, so up to you guys. I'm willing to help :) Edited January 18, 2011 by Raven Quote
frasian Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 not sure if this helps but according to this site it says te27 is the same as ae86. this could be wrong though as i don't think ae86 camber tops fit do they ? http://www.rhdjapan.com/cusco-strut-bar-type-st-rear-toyota-levin-trueno-te27-ae86.html its the 2 bolt type not the round 3 bolt type so this may be why, price is about $120 AUD + $60 AUD shipping. either way I'm interested in a group buy. anything <200 and i can live with it, as long as it fits over the engine unlike the group buy :( Quote
parrot Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 I think you will find that is a rear strut bar? Quote
frasian Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 looks like a front one, are te27 irs, correct me if I'm wrong (which i probally am) but te27 is leaf sprung like a ke20. pics look like a cusco front strut bar similar to the ones ive seen on datsuns and the like Quote
parrot Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 It says it's a rear. Perhaps meant to be fitted across the rear shock mounts as a supplementary chassis brace According to this, it's a rear strut bar. http://www.cuscousainc.com/downloads/dl/file/id/30/toyota_corolla_ae86_all_product_list.pdf Type ST Make: TOYOTA Model: Corolla - Solid Steel/Round with Center Turn Buckle Tension Adjustable - Need to trim rear panels - 2TG 1600cc Price : $160.00 MSRP : $160.00 Product: Strut Bar - Type ST Rear Toyota Levin/Trueno TE27 AE86 Part Num: 116 511 A - See more at: http://www.rhdjapan.com/cusco-strut-bar-type-st-rear-toyota-levin-trueno-te27-ae86.html#sthash.bt3F4Q19.dpuf Product: Strut Bar - Type ST Rear Toyota Levin/Trueno TE27 AE86 Part Num: 116 511 A - See more at: http://www.rhdjapan.com/cusco-strut-bar-type-st-rear-toyota-levin-trueno-te27-ae86.html#sthash.bt3F4Q19.dpuf Product: Strut Bar - Type ST Rear Toyota Levin/Trueno TE27 AE86 Part Num: 116 511 A - See more at: http://www.rhdjapan.com/cusco-strut-bar-type-st-rear-toyota-levin-trueno-te27-ae86.html#sthash.bt3F4Q19.dpuf Quote
