You must be sssoooo happy mate! Well I was pretty happy with the suprise of having two small photos(side of car and bay) of my 5kze ke-11 in "Fast 4's" a couple of months ago let alone a full 6 page feature. It takes a very well built classic to get into "Hot 4's" seems to be full of late model silvias, evos and hondas these days.

I like this 20! The finish of everyhing is really good and it's kinda refreshing to see you haven't gone for a "safe" colour combo.

Oh I have one criticism it needs more boost lol.

Thanks guys! Yeah its a mad feeling Kickn5k. The other four cyl mags told me it wasn't there style lol.... and yeah I tried to do something different with the colours. I mean i could of done tan or grey trim and it would of looked great but it would of just blended in with all the other orange cars. I tried to also build it with a street rod style rather than the usual JDM or sex-spec just to be different. Its funny that when I go to "small car" shows everyone says nice car but should of put a turbo... when I go to hot rod/street machine shows the older generation absolutely love it. Maybe if I knew it was going to take so long to build I would of put a turboed motor in it. When I bought the 4age to do the conversion it was 2002 and I was just planning a simple rebuild, then it kinda got outta hand. My mate was building a KE20 with an Sr20 and it was causing him major grief. I didn't want the grief haha I just wanted a very clean street car that the wife could drive also. Thanks again for all the compliments and hopefully will get to meet some of you guys at a show or cruise soon. I plan on attending the World Time Attack show, Hot Car Titles, Red's Big day Out, of course ToyotaFest and All Japan Day. So come say G'Day.

Lol your so right with orange cars with tan interiors! When a mate of mine did his HOK tangelo with tan leather trim 65 mustang "1tuf65". I thought "thats such a good combo".

Now I see so many orange/tan cars it's not funny. I guess it's the new purple/tan combo. Lol

Oh yeah they were probably right about your car not be their style. It's way to clean and not boosted enough for zooms "go before show" style. And not enough late mod "time attack" style for fast 4's. Meh a feature is a feature and don't forget it's an international publication.

Might have to max out the credit card to make it to toyotafest to check this puppy out. I do really really like this car.

On a lighter note have you considered a wheel change to some "intros" to make it into street machine? Lol

Very true what you have said KICKN5K regarding magazines and colour combo's. By the way my wheels are "Intro's" so maybe I should contact Street Machine? Lol.....Took the car for a quick drive this afternoon and noticed a small amount of coolant leaking out of a heater hose in the cabin. One of the fittings was slightly loose so i nipped it up and hopefully that was all it was.
